Chinese Ambassador to Malaysia Ouyang Yujing Attends International Conference on ‘China’s Development and the World: Modernisation, Transformation, and Global Implications’
On August 6, the International Conference on “China’s Development and the World: Modernisation, Transformation, and Global Implications” has been held in Kuala Lumpur. Present were H.E. Ambassador Ouyang Yujing; Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food Security of Malaysia, Chan Foong Hin, along with officials, experts, and scholars from ASEAN countries, among a hundred guests.

Ambassador Ouyang said that under the leadership of the Communist Party of China, China has created the “two miracles” of rapid economic growth and long-term social stability. Chinese modernisation is not only about China’s development, but also safeguards world peace and stability, advances the common development of all countries, supports the improvement of global governance, and drives the advancement of human civilisation. China stands ready to work hand in hand with ASEAN countries, including Malaysia, on the path of modernisation to create a better future for Asia and the world.
Chan Foong Hin said, Chinese modernisation brings prosperity and stability to the region, and Malaysia will deepen cooperation with China in areas such as trade and investment, cultural exchange, and sustainable development, so as to bring more benefits to the people of both countries and contribute to regional development.
